2016 Young Scientist Travel Awards

Application is now open for 2016 Travel Awards for young scientists to one of these 2016 Conferences: Annual Meeting of the Cognitive Science Society; Annual Meeting of the Society for Mathematical Psychology; Annual Summer Interdisciplinary Conference, to learn state-of-the-art techniques for drawing causal inference from complex and/or large data sets.

To apply for a travel award, complete the application and submit it as an attachment to by March 30, 2016. The award amounts are not yet known but are likely to be less than the total expected costs and limited to a maximum in the neighborhood of $1500. Women and scientists who are members of groups under-represented in STEM disciplines are encouraged to apply. Awards are limited to graduate students or scientists within five years of the Ph.D. by the end of 2016. Those selected for awards will be notified and told the award amount by April 14, 2016. Recipients will be reimbursed upon completion of travel and submission of receipts and other information. Instructions for reimbursement will be provided later.
